Connor is the go-to trainer for puppy training and general obedience at Unleashed K9. He has a natural connection with young dogs that brings out their confidence and drive from the very first session. That's not something you can teach, it's an instinct, and it's what makes Connor particularly effective with puppies during the critical socialisation window between 8 and 16 weeks.

His approach to puppy training goes well beyond the basics. While most puppy classes focus on sit, down, and a bit of socialisation, Connor covers proper bite inhibition, impulse control, crate training, house training, lead introduction, handling, and structured socialisation that actually prepares puppies for real life, not just a controlled training hall.

Pack Walks & Scent Work

Connor runs Unleashed K9's structured pack walks, carefully managed group walks that build social confidence, reinforce obedience in real-world conditions, and give dogs the structured exercise and mental stimulation they need. These aren't off-lead free-for-alls. Every dog works on a long line or lead, practising recall, impulse control, and social skills alongside other dogs at varying stages of training.

He's also developed Unleashed K9's scent work programme, a discipline that taps into a dog's most powerful natural sense. Scent work provides intense mental stimulation, builds confidence in nervous dogs, and gives high-drive dogs a constructive outlet for their energy.
