Robbie is the trainer clients request by name, and for good reason. As Senior Trainer at Unleashed K9, he delivers 1-to-1 dog training sessions, group classes, and works extensively with reactive and anxious dogs across Liverpool, St Helens, and the North West. His calm, confident approach puts even the most nervous dogs at ease, and his ability to read canine body language means he spots problems before they escalate.

Trained under Danny Wells' direct mentorship, Robbie brings the same results-driven philosophy to every session. He doesn't rely on one method for every dog, he adapts his approach based on the individual animal's drives, temperament, and history. That flexibility is what makes him effective with everything from high-energy working breeds to shut-down rescue dogs that have never had proper training.

Robbie has developed a particular expertise in reactive dog training and lead work. Dogs that lunge, bark, or become uncontrollable on the lead are among the most common cases at Unleashed K9, and Robbie's methodical approach to rebuilding handler confidence alongside addressing the dog's behaviour produces lasting results.

His lead walking sessions focus on real-world reliability, walking nicely in a training hall and maintaining composure past other dogs, cyclists, joggers, and every other trigger that makes a normal walk feel like a battle. Robbie runs Unleashed K9's group training sessions and the Good Behaviour Class, structured sessions that build obedience in a social environment. Unlike the puppy classes and dog training groups that let dogs off lead to "socialise" with no structure, Robbie's group sessions are controlled, purposeful, and progressive. Every dog works, every owner learns, and every session builds on the last.

His group sessions are particularly effective for dogs transitioning from 1-to-1 training into real-world social situations, the controlled environment allows dogs to practise their new behaviours around other dogs and people without being overwhelmed.
